As a remote Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with hospitals and healthcare providers to resolve billing inquiries, assist patients, and provide seamless support. **Responsibilities** As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional phone support to hospitals and patients, handling billing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner * Assisting patients effectively by clarifying questions and ensuring they receive the information they need * Problem-solving champion: Working through issues by pinpointing the root cause, researching solutions, implementing the best option, and escalating unresolved matters when necessary * Data entry specialist: Maintaining accurate patient records by inputting information into the hospital's computer system * Connects callers seamlessly: Routing incoming calls to the most suitable person within the company **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * Epic Software experience highly preferred * Bi-lingual a plus * Must have worked in a call center and experience in Medical Claims and/or Insurance * Ability to undergo a criminal background check, prove ownership of a High School Diploma, GED or Transcripts, and complete a drug screen testing (testing for THC as well) * Have High Speed Internet with a minimal of 50 Mbps Download/20 Mbps Upload Speed - Must be able to hard wire via Ethernet cable * Ability to work from home in a quiet setting with no others within earshot, due to HIPAA compliance, including a workspace to accommodate two monitors and a computer **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Epic Software and data entry **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
