Key Responsibilities Conduct live online tutoring sessions in math and/or science for students of various ages and skill levels. Prepare and deliver customized lesson plans based on the needs and goals of each student. Utilize ThinkingStorm's online tutoring system to manage appointments, track student progress, and maintain records. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians to ensure a comprehensive understanding of student needs and progress. Stay updated on curriculum developments and best practices in math and science education to continually enhance tutoring quality. Participate in training and evaluation sessions to improve teaching techniques and subject matter expertise. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A BA/BS degree or higher in a math or science-related discipline. Proficiency in teaching math up to Calculus or science subjects such as biology, chemistry, or physics. Experience with online tutoring or teaching, preferably through a platform similar to ThinkingStorm. A reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace for conducting tutoring sessions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered advantageous: Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research design.
