Job Summary Under the direct supervision of our experienced administrative team, you will be responsible for entering customer and staff data into our computer databases with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Your duties will include keying and verifying data, recognizing and correcting errors, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. You will also provide clerical support to our office administrator and maintain computerized departmental records. Key Responsibilities Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents using an online computer terminal or personal computer with a high degree of accuracy and speed. Verify results according to established procedures and recognize and correct errors in original data prior to processing. Identify deficiencies in source documents and return them to the originator for correction, ensuring that all data is accurate and complete. Maintain customer and staff databases, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate. Provide clerical support to the office administrator, including preparing reports, maintaining files, and performing other administrative tasks as required. Maintain computerized departmental records, including spreadsheets, databases, and other digital files. Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and maintain the security of our databases and computer systems. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience. Some data entry experience, preferably in an administrative or office environment. Ability to use personal computers and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and perform word processing tasks. Proficient typing and keyboarding skills, with the ability to meet established deadlines and productivity standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a data entry or administrative role, preferably in a similar industry or environment. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access. Experience with database management software and other digital tools and technologies.
