Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Remote Chat & Text Therapist to join our team at arenaflex. As a Remote Chat & Text Therapist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of services to our clients, coordinating day-to-day operations of the program, and recommending and implementing changes that would improve the delivery of services. This is a full-time remote role that offers the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Key Responsibilities As a Remote Chat & Text Therapist at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include: Answering all chats and texts in a timely and professional manner while meeting agency goals Effectively assessing clinical situations and needs of all chatters Providing quality assurance of the program's service delivery Completing clinical documentation thoroughly, clearly, and accurately, including information critical to data collection and reporting to funders Monitoring call-in times for clients placed on a 72-Hour Suicide Watch or Safety Follow-Up Attending all required meetings and training courses, even if they fall outside of the regularly scheduled shift Complying with and assuring compliance by staff with the agency's standard of care for service delivery Ensuring quality service delivery, including clinical care and all associated documentation Taking an active role in ad hoc committees and work groups as assigned by the Manager or Director of Programs Providing instruction and training for interns and staff Adhering to the agency's policies and procedures and assuring that staff is in compliance Maintaining professional conduct consistent with ethical professional practice and the policies and procedures of the agency Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field Excellent oral and written communication skills Clear and effective communication Strong customer service skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to document detailed information Ability to multitask Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis situations, work independently and cooperatively, recognize personal limitations, and relate positively and with empathy to all persons regardless of age, race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Crisis experience Supervisory experience Program development experience Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong clinical skills and knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document client information Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the ongoing growth and development of our employees.
