Job Overview The Data Entry Specialist will play a critical role in updating and maintaining our company databases and computer systems. Key Responsibilities Verifies and logs receipt of data, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Transcribes source data into the required electronic format, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners, demonstrating proficiency in data entry software and equipment. Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software, meeting department standards for quality and productivity. Verifies integrity of data by comparing it to source documents, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors. Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information, taking corrective action to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Maintains a filing system and protects confidential customer information, adhering to arenaflex's data protection policies and procedures. Performs regular backups to ensure data preservation, guaranteeing the security and integrity of our company's valuable information assets. Responds to requests to retrieve data from the database or electronic filing system, providing timely and efficient support to colleagues and stakeholders. Uses basic office equipment (photocopy machine, facsimile machine, etc.) as required, demonstrating familiarity with administrative duties and office procedures. Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards, continuously striving for improvement and excellence in data entry practices. Completes additional assigned tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team in achieving its goals and objectives. Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry, ensuring efficient and effective processing of information. Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to demonstrate the following essential qualifications and skills: Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with MS Office and data programs, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanners, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
