Experienced Remote Data Entry Technician – Customs Brokerage and Logistics Support Specialist

Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, understanding and identifying customs documentation, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. As a key member of our Customs Brokerage team, you will work closely with our management team to ensure compliance with regulations and daily execution of workflow and department metrics. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Understand and identify customs documentation, including customs declarations and other relevant documents Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally, and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner Ensure compliance at all times to regulations, including customs regulations and company policies and procedures Daily execution of workflow and department metrics, including monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, skills, and personal qualities, including: Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Growth mindset, with a desire to learn and develop your skills and knowledge in the logistics and supply chain industry Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges and responsibilities Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in data entry, customs brokerage, or logistics, with a strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles and practices, including transportation management, inventory management, and customs compliance Experience with operating systems and software applications, including data entry systems and customs clearance software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees, and offer a range of training and development opportunities to help you build your skills and knowledge.
