Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing large-scale data architectures and pipelines to meet the business and data science needs of the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data science and business groups, to deliver innovative data solutions that drive business growth and success. Key Responsibilities Design and develop large-scale data architectures and pipelines to collect, process, and normalize data, providing insights and addressing reporting needs. Develop ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, design database systems, and create tools for real-time and offline analytical processing. Collaborate with the data science team to integrate data and incorporate algorithms and models into digital processes. Work with data in Cloud, Hadoop, and experience designing and optimizing queries to build data pipelines. Utilize strong programming skills in Python or other major languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems. Develop data warehouses and data models to support Data Science and other internal clients, integrating data from various sources and ensuring adherence to data quality and accessibility standards. Analyze current data technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions. Experiment with available tools and advise on new tools to determine the optimal solution given the requirements directed by the model/use case. Essential Qualifications 5+ years of relevant work experience in Data Engineering. 5+ years of experience with SQL. 5+ years of experience with Python. Experience with Cloud-based platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, or Azure). Strong Communication, Problem-Solving, and Critical Thinking skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark. Experience with Reporting (Tableau). Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus.
