Job Summary In this exciting role, you will be responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. You will work in a high-production environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team orientation, problem-solving abilities, strong written and oral communication, and strong computer skills. Key Responsibilities Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion Make outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes Multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service Work in a high-production environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient care Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Essential Qualifications 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA Verifiable High School diploma, GED or equivalent Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Strong written and oral communication skills Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems Preferred Qualifications Specialty pharmacy experience Call center experience Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues COVID Requirements arenaflex requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
