These include: * Competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience * Sick time that starts accruing immediately after training completion * Special event days throughout the year to celebrate milestones and achievements * $25,000.00 Life Insurance, paid for by arenaflex * Paid holidays from day one of employment, subject to meeting certain criteria * Opportunities for growth and development, with a focus on career advancement and professional growth **Job Duties** As a Student Loan Advisor, you will be responsible for: * Taking incoming calls, using chat, and completing outbound calls to assist borrowers with their questions and concerns * Providing detailed information and processing applications with accuracy and efficiency * Resolving emerging problems and issues that may arise with borrower accounts * Practicing active listening, empathy, and clear communication to ensure a positive and professional customer experience * Utilizing standard technology, such as a telephone, email, and web browser, to navigate and complete tasks * Following established policies and procedures, including working within various systems, timekeeping, and documentation of calls * Assisting borrowers with filling out applications and submitting them electronically to plan providers for processing * Completing basic call logs, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry **Schedule** Our team works a variety of shifts to ensure that we're available to support borrowers 24/7. Your schedule may include: * Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm * Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm * Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm * Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm * Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm **Preferred Skills** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * The ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently * A minimum typing speed of 35 WPM * Experience working with a personal computer and the Windows operating system * The ability to effectively work within established key performance indicators/metrics * Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills * The ability to multi-task and stay organized while completing simultaneous tasks * May be required to work holidays and overtime **Requirements** To be considered for this role, you'll need: * Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills sufficient to communicate and interact effectively with customers and co-workers * Knowledge of contact center technology * Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Excel and Word * Excellent command of the English language, effective use of grammar skills * Excellent communication etiquette * Great customer service skills, with a focus on personalizing each call, being competent with information and assistance, patient and polite, and initiative-taking in offering solutions and assistance **Career Growth Opportunities** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping you grow and develop your career.
