Fractional CFO – VC Metrics & Pitch Deck Support Hourly / Contract | Remote | 10–30 hrs/week We are preparing for an institutional VC raise and need a senior, hands-on Fractional CFO to support our CFO with investor-grade metrics and analysis. This is not bookkeeping and not month-end accounting. This role is strictly focused on VC metrics, benchmarks, and pitch-deck support. Scope of Work Build and validate VC metrics: CAC, LTV, Payback Period Gross & Net Revenue Retention Cohort analysis and unit economics Document assumptions and calculations clearly (VC diligence-ready) Source and synthesize industry benchmarks and market data Support financial sections of the VC pitch deck (numbers + narrative) Create backup analyses for investor Q&A and diligence Work directly with the CFO during an active raise Required Experience Former CFO, VP Finance, or Fractional CFO at a venture-backed company Direct experience supporting Series A / Series B VC raises Strong understanding of how VCs evaluate metrics (not just how to calculate them) Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills Ability to work independently and move fast Nice to Have SaaS, tech-enabled services, fintech, or logistics experience IB, PE, or strategy consulting background Prior investor diligence support Engagement 10–20 hours per week (flexible, spikes during investor pushes) Competitive hourly rate based on experience Potential for extended engagement post-raise To Apply (Important) Please include: The stage(s) of VC raises you’ve supported (Series A, B, etc.) Your role in building CAC/LTV and retention metrics One example of an investor-facing deliverable you’ve owned (deck, model, memo) Applications without this information will not be reviewed.
