Internship Description The Tournament is seeking Graphic Design Interns to join our Events Team and help shape the visual storytelling for the upcoming fourth edition of The Soccer Tournament (TST) and the thirteenth edition of The Basketball Tournament (TBT). This 5-month immersive internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in live sporting events, creating design work that directly impacts the fan and sponsor experience. We’re looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and curious interns who are eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a wide range of creative projects. This role provides a behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced world of event design and the chance to see your work come to life in high-profile venues. This design internship will provide exposure to and involvement in a wide range of creative projects at TST and TBT, including: • Create a wide range of visual assets, including event signage, in-venue digital graphics, presentation decks, website creative, and print collateral that enhance the fan and sponsor experience. • Work closely with internal teams, including event operations, sponsorship, and marketing, as well as external partners to brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute creative ideas. • Reformat, manipulate, and prepare existing graphics for final delivery to end display. • Ensure all designs align with The Tournament’s brand guidelines, tone, and visual identity while adapting layouts to meet various platform and format requirements. • Deliver projects on schedule, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced live-event environment. Please Note: This role is focused on core graphic design responsibilities and is not a social media content creation position. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have an interest in sports (specifically soccer and basketball), be willing to pitch in wherever needed in our start-up environment, and exhibit the following traits: • Extremely detail-oriented • Highly organized • Quick learner • Excellent research, writing, computer skills • Good communication • Superb time management skills • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently Schedule & Time Commitment The internship will run from Monday, March 2, 2026 through Early August, 2026. Interns should plan to contribute up to 15 hours per week. Hours may fluctuate throughout the internship, with increased availability requested during peak event periods. This is a remote opportunity. School Credit This is an unpaid internship; however, we are committed to providing an educational environment throughout this experience.
