At this time, we are seeking a talented HR Generalist to join our Corporate office in Hollywood. Under the direction of the HR Consultant and CEO the HR Generalist will undertake a variety of HR administrative duties and help maintain positive employee relations and work to ensure worker satisfaction through education of HR policies and by fostering a positive work environment.This position is supportive in nature and will provide hands-on assistance to managers and coordinators, day-to-day coaching on employee relations issues, performance management and compliance. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and understand that this role will not be considered the gatekeeper, but instead a business partner. They enjoy and are great at problem solving, processing multiple tasks for various office locations with competing deadlines with meticulous attention to detail and creating streamlined processes and improving efficiency to accommodate an ever-changing environment.Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:• Partner with HR Consultants, key executives and stakeholders to ensure employee and business needs are met focusing on compliance, leadership, and performance management• Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests as they relate to policies and procedures• Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team• Assist with implementing company policies, goals, objectives and procedures; Recommend new approaches to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed• Interface with company employees and triage HR-related needs as the first point of contact for HR-related questions.• Assist with employee relations issues (participate in workplace investigations, hear and resolve employee grievances)• Work in partnership with managers on performance management, progressive discipline and employee development to foster team growth and maximize productivity• Assist with analyzing and reviewing benefits and eligibility and ACA reporting. • Oversee companywide field staff hiring and background check process in compliance with the FCIHO and EEOC guidelines• Assess employee training needs and facilitate/conduct training• Leads talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.• Respond to unemployment claims and verifications of employment• Manage WorkersCompensation claims and partners with supervisors on Return-to-Work Program• Assist with annual open enrollment communications and election process• Partner with HR Consultants and legal to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations• Identify and execute on continuous improvement of HR programs and processes to improve the overall employee and manager experience• Assist in ad-hoc HR projectsRequirements• 3+ years experience as HR Generalist and Bachelor’s degree education in Human Resource Management or related field preferred, or, an acceptable combination of experience and education.• SHRM or HR Certificate a plus• Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices• Proficient in MS Office• Experience with HR databases and/or HRIS systems• Ability to work with ATS software, preferably JazzHR• In-depth understanding of sourcing tools such as resume databases and online communities• Outstanding verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness• Ability to handle data with confidentiality• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Ability to multitask with any eye for detail• Work well under pressure autonomously and collaborativelyCompensation & BenefitsBase salary starts at $70,000k DOE with potential discretionary bonus based on company performance and profitability.Medical benefits, and paid vacation available upon successful completion of introductory period.
