As we continue to grow, we want to ensure our HR practices, policies, and compliance requirements are fully aligned with both federal and multi-state regulations. What We’re Looking ForWe are seeking an experienced HR consultant who can conduct a thorough audit of our current HR setup, draft or revise policies/documents following your recommendations, and who we can rely on for ongoing, as-needed hourly support to help us navigate HR and compliance issues as they arise.Ideal Consultant QualificationsProven experience advising small businesses (ideally under 20 employees)Strong knowledge of multi-state employment requirements and complianceFamiliarity with U.S. HR compliance, payroll tax registrations, and leave lawsExperience drafting or updating employee handbooks and policiesAbility to clearly communicate complex compliance issues in plain languageResponsive and available for ad hoc hourly consultingEngagement DetailsInitial scope: Project-based HR audit with written recommendations.Ongoing: Hourly, as-needed consulting support.
