Position OverviewThe Removal Defense Attorney will represent clients in removal proceedings and related humanitarian and family-based cases.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney ready to deepen courtroom experience and grow within a collaborative, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities• Represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR, including master and individual hearings. • Prepare and file asylum, cancellation of removal, motions, and appeals. • Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys to prepare strong factual and legal records. • Maintain consistent communication with clients in Spanish and English. • Conduct legal research, draft briefs and memoranda, and develop litigation strategies.• Participate in training and case strategy sessions. Qualifications• J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar license in good standing (any state). • 2–4 years of immigration law experience, including removal defense or humanitarian cases. • Fluency in Spanish and English required. • Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills. • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to immigrant rights.
