Investment Banking Financial Modeling Expert – AI Tutor (Part-time, Contractor) Location: Remote (US only) Job Type: Part-time · Contractor Compensation: $100–$150 per hour, based on experience and hours worked Job Description We are seeking an Investment Banking Financial Modeling Expert to join our customer’s team as an AI Tutor. In this role, you will leverage real-world investment banking experience to design, validate, and document high-quality financial modeling tasks used to train and evaluate advanced AI systems for a global enterprise. This is a remote, part-time contractor role with flexible working hours, hourly compensation, and the opportunity to scale total earnings by increasing weekly hours. Work Structure & Compensation • Hourly pay: $100–$150/hour • Minimum commitment: 10 hours per week • Flexible schedule — you choose your hours • More hours = higher total compensation Key Responsibilities • Design and build investment-banking–grade financial modeling tasks using real source documents and referenced data. • Create detailed prompts and execution plans enabling AI systems to build models from scratch. • Develop gold-standard reference models and objective evaluation rubrics. • Build and review core IB models, including integrated 3-statement models, DCF (WACC), trading comps, precedent transactions, LBOs, and M&A models. • Audit, stress-test, and validate financial models. • Clearly document assumptions and methodologies. • Collaborate with cross-functional AI teams in a remote, asynchronous environment. Required Skills and Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in investment banking or closely related financial modeling roles. • Expert-level proficiency in valuation and financial modeling. • Proven experience building complex models from scratch. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear written communication. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Preferred Qualifications • Buy-side experience (private equity, hedge fund, corporate development). • Experience mentoring or reviewing analyst-level work. • Familiarity with technical documentation or evaluation frameworks.
