Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Attorney with a focus on municipal finance and transactional tax matters. Key Responsibilities: • Advise clients on municipal finance and transactional tax matters, with a specific focus on tax-exempt financings, including conduit and healthcare-related transactions. • Lead and support tax credit-related transactions, including low-income and new markets tax credits. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure financing solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients. • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide clear and actionable recommendations to clients. • Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations, providing guidance on complex tax issues related to financing. • Engage with clients and key stakeholders, offering strategic counsel and maintaining strong relationships. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in municipal finance, transactional tax, tax-exempt financing, and/or tax credit-related transactions. • Proven expertise in healthcare financings, conduit financings, or tax credit-related transactions such as low-income and new markets. • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex tax matters. • A collaborative, client-focused mindset with a commitment to excellence.
