About the position Responsibilities • Serve as the Commercial Finance business lead for CeraVe and LDB Hair Businesses. • Partner with the head of field sales on Joint Business Planning (JBP) and collaborate with the CeraVe GM and Controller on brand strategy. • Maintain and monitor trade spending expenses by category and customer, including trade deals and promotions. • Perform financial analysis on promotional funding requests from field sales, including ROI and net sales lift calculations. • Present sales estimates and variances to General Managers and Division President. • Play a financial role in the annual budgeting process, focusing on trade spending strategy and allocation. • Develop tools for Field Sales to evaluate trade promotion options and analyze post-promotion KPIs. • Analyze Customer P&Ls and work closely with account managers on investment and profitability. • Provide financial insights on inventory and perform SISO analysis. • Review opportunities for net price valorization and collaborate with RGM and brands on pricing strategies. • Liaise with cross-functional teams including sales, demand planning, and accounting. • Lead ad-hoc financial strategic projects. Requirements • 10+ years of experience in finance preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required. • MBA/CPA preferred. • Experience in the consumer products industry preferred. • Strong computer skills, particularly expert-level experience with Excel and Word. • Financial reporting experience and familiarity with SAP, Hyperion, Oracle or similar GL systems highly desirable. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, business acumen, and leadership skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. • Ability to interact with all levels of management. Nice-to-haves • Experience with financial modeling and analysis tools. • Knowledge of trade promotion management systems. • Familiarity with e-commerce financial metrics.
