Bookkeeper (Experienced in U.S. Accounting)

Seeking experienced bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records for our US-based S Corp. Responsibilities include: ==================== •Maintain accurate general ledger and chart of accounts • Record and categorize daily financial transactions (income, expenses, assets, liabilities). • Managing accounts payable and receivable • Reconciling bank statements and Credit Card statements • Preparing financial statements and reports • Ensuring compliance with GAAP and S Corp tax requirements Ideal candidate has experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software, knowledge of US tax laws, and strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively required. Qualifications: ========== Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience in the U.S. (small business or corporate). Proficiency in accounting software – Wave Accounting or willingness to learn quickly with minimum supervision Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the business owner Engagement: =========== • Flexible hours and availability in 9 AM to 11 AM CST Time zone (-6:00 GMT) • Must have a decent computer with internet. • Remote.
