In this role, you will maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. Must be a team player, willing to assist in other tasks as assigned when workload permits. Responsibilities • Enter financial data and transactions • Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered • Prepare trial balance • Analyze budgets and other financial information • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable • Complete required tax forms • Assess and deploy new accounting systems • Assist in day to day office tasks. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field • Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position • A background in Aviation is required, applicants without this will not be considered • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • Strong computer skills • Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills Apply Job!
