Director of Editing For YouTube Channel Network

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented director of Editing to oversee the quality assurance processes within our organization. This role is critical in ensuring that all videos meet the highest standards of quality. We are looking to hire someone who has experience editing videos that require extensive skills in sourcing the highest quality clips & content from various online sources and knowing high effort clip sourcing vs low effort clip sourcing. This is a director roll so you will be quality checking 8-10 videos per day ensuring our content is of the highest quality standard, and managing our team of 8+ editors Responsibilities • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure video excellence. • Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement with 8+ editors • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. • Analyze data from quality control tests and provide reports on findings to management. • Train staff on quality standards and best practices in production. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding product quality. • Maintain documentation related to quality control processes, including inspection reports and corrective action plans. Experience • Must have proficiency in content creation with skills in Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects) • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members • Attention to detail is essential for identifying potential issues before they escalate.
