ED, Total Cost of Care Affordability

About the position Responsibilities • Establish durable monthly processes in partnership with Health Care Economics to identify unwarranted variation across service categories. • Partner with finance, operational, and care delivery teams to review actionable data and support primary initiatives. • Monitor data and perform analytics to drive meaningful action. • Make quantifiable recommendations on initiatives to mitigate expense trends and improve cost structure. • Ensure timely monitoring of critical success metrics for each initiative. • Develop risk-adjusted targets that align with forecasts and economic plans. • Define operational, clinical, and financial metrics for accurate measurement of success. • Collaborate with Health Care Economics for appropriate valuation of initiatives. Requirements • Minimum ten (10) years of proven experience leading and executing total cost of care affordability across multiple lines of business including Medicare, Commercial, and Medicaid. • Strong knowledge of health plan operations and care delivery, including integration of Network, Clinical, Pharmacy, and Health Plan Operations. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration or related field. • Successful experience creating a performance-oriented culture driven by process improvement and automation. • Demonstrated expertise as a financial and strategic leader with outstanding financial technical and operational understanding. • Excellent ability to interpret critical data with problem-solving skills. • Proven capability to motivate change through influence in a matrix organization. • Consistent delivery of results to the satisfaction of internal and external customers. • Proven ability to balance execution of strategic vision with leadership and delegation.
