Electrician A - 3rd Shift

About the position Responsibilities • Maintain and install electrical systems and equipment as specified by supervision or Senior Electrician. • Inspect circuits and wiring for specified shielding and grounding and repair or rewire system according to building codes and safety regulations. • Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment in the plant. • Assist in the training of equal or less Senior Electricians. • Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and Analog signals. • Setup VFDs and troubleshoot alarm codes. • Maintain all assigned work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a Manufacturing Environment in an electrician role. • Ability to read simple ladder logic and a variety of blueprints. • Familiar with HMI computers and comfortable with troubleshooting high voltage equipment (600V). Nice-to-haves • Assist in the layout and wiring of new installations. • Possess working knowledge of electrical code requirements.
