As a tutor and behavioral coach, you will have the opportunity to work with students and their families, providing one-on-one support in areas such as academic achievement, social skills, emotional intelligence, and executive functioning skills. Job Summary and Responsibilities In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing direct support to students and their families through individualized coaching sessions. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing engaging lessons and activities tailored to each client's unique needs and goals Communicating effectively with families regarding session schedules, progress, and any concerns or issues that may arise Tracking and updating client progress in our goal-tracking system to ensure consistent and meaningful support Providing ongoing, consistent coaching and tutoring support to clients, adapting your approach as needed to meet their evolving needs Submitting worked hours and maintaining up-to-date availability in our scheduling system, TutorCruncher Updating client goal progress in our Goals Portal to ensure seamless collaboration with our team and stakeholders Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral, social, or emotional challenges Availability to work at least 3 weekdays from 3 pm to 7 pm, with occasional morning and weekend hours Strong personal organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple clients and schedules Familiarity with online management platforms and strong communication skills in multiple mediums, including in-person, email, and phone Ability to commit to a client for a minimum of six months and work independently as well as collaboratively with our team Reliable transportation and a valid CA Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of Completion (required before providing client services) Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Experience working with students with diverse needs, including those with autism, ADHD, or other special needs Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions in behavioral coaching and tutoring Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing client needs and circumstances Experience with online learning platforms and technology, including video conferencing tools and digital communication systems Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Club Xcite, we are committed to supporting the ongoing professional development and growth of our team members.
