We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Amazon Sortation Center team as a key player in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Sortation Center Team Member, you'll be responsible for sorting, scanning, and stacking packages on pallets, ensuring that customer orders are prepared for delivery efficiently and effectively.
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Receive and sort inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of packages
- Get customer orders ready for delivery, scanning, and stacking packages on pallets
- Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printers to track and manage packages
- Lift up to 49 pounds, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts, demonstrating physical stamina and flexibility
- Utilize carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around the Sortation Center, ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Work at heights of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable), following safety guidelines and protocols
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks during shifts
- Capacity to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with technology like scanners and handheld printers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including part-time schedules, and adjust your availability as needed
