About the Role We're seeking an experienced Children's Development, Gymnastics and Activity Coach to join our team in Katy, TX. As a coach, you'll be responsible for designing and leading engaging fitness programs for kids, while also contributing to the success of our team through sales and promotional efforts. Key Responsibilities Design and lead fun, engaging, and safe fitness classes for children aged 6 weeks to 10 years Help meet monthly team goals in promotions and sales Develop and maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for children and parents Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns Participate in birthday parties and other events to promote our programs and services Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure consistency and quality in our programs Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in children's fitness and development Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A background in fitness, athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, or a related field Experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills High energy and a positive, enthusiastic attitude Effective leadership and motivational skills Adept sales skills and a willingness to contribute to sales and promotional efforts A clean background check Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in a coaching or teaching role Certifications in children's fitness, gymnastics, or a related field (e.g., ACE, NASM, or USA Gymnastics) Knowledge of child development principles and practices First aid and CPR certification Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need: Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to connect with children and parents from diverse backgrounds Creativity and flexibility in designing and leading classes A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow Effective time management and organizational skills Career Growth Opportunities At My Gym, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
