About the Role As a Coach and Operations Manager Trainee, you'll play a critical role in driving success in our stores. You'll lead and develop teams, model exceptional customer service standards, drive financial performance, and provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates. Key Responsibilities Lead and Develop Teams : Teach, train, and actively listen to associates; tour stores and provide feedback; communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, and company direction. Exceptional Customer Service : Model and demonstrate the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manage and support customer service initiatives; ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Drive Financial Performance : Review and evaluate P&L statements; manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Supervise and Develop Hourly Associates : Hire, train, and mentor associates; assign duties; set clear expectations; provide associate recognition; communicate expectations consistently and effectively. Coordinate and Complete Job-Related Activities : Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identify and communicate goals and objectives. Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
