The Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent is responsible for monitoring alarm signals and dispatching emergency services as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action to ensure customer safety and security.
- Dispatch emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies, providing critical information and support during emergency situations.
- Provide world-class customer service to customers in their time of need, offering empathy, support, and solutions to resolve their concerns.
- Notify customers of non-emergency signals, keeping them informed and up-to-date on the status of their alarm systems.
- Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed and involved in the response.
- Receive and process inbound calls requesting information, providing accurate and helpful responses to customer inquiries.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning and development.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute, ensuring efficient and effective communication with customers and emergency responders.
- Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states, demonstrating a high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required, highlighting the importance of exceptional service skills and a customer-centric approach.
