- Maintain current knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment, verifying medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services.
- Follow policy and work instructions to ensure that the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance claims.
- Strive to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service, making sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success and growth of the team.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support and solutions.
