With a strong commitment to quality and excellence, we're dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients and customers. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in processing medical claims and providing exceptional service to our clients. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for: * Processing medical claims and communicating with providers about the claims process * Expediting the claims process and providing detailed claim notes on all calls * Resolving issues and directing calls to an appropriate escalation path as needed * Educating and informing customers about documentation required to process a claim, required time frames, payment information, and claim status * Entering verbal and written application information into the claims management system * Assigning new claims to the appropriate claims handler * Directing customer calls to the appropriate contact at multiple locations or escalating to Service Center Specialist/management as needed **Essential Functions and Responsibilities** * Acts as primary liaison with callers, following client specifications in assisting with questions and solving problems related to the claims process and servicing processes * Educates and informs the customer via multiple communication channels about documentation required to process a claim, required time frames, payment information, and claim status * Educates members and providers on client requirements and benefit plans, documenting all required details of the call in a concise professional manner * Enters verbal and written application information that meets both the internal and external customer's requirements accurately into the claims management system * Assigns new claims to the appropriate claims handler * Directs customer calls to the appropriate contact at multiple locations or escalates to Service Center Specialist/management as needed * Performs other duties as assigned, supporting the organization's quality program(s) **Requirements** * 1-2 years of experience in claims and customer service * US Citizenship required * Ability to work a set shift (8:00am - 4:30pm, 8:30am - 5:00pm, or 11:30am - 8:00pm) * 90-day duration with the option for extension * Remote work arrangement with a minimum IT requirement (Supplier partners MUST confirm that candidates meet the work from home IT) **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in the healthcare industry * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency in claims management systems **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency in claims management systems * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
