About Us Lil' Kickers is a nationally recognized program that has been inspiring young children to develop their soccer skills, build confidence, and cultivate essential life skills. Our Skills Institute takes it a step further by providing advanced soccer training for kids aged 5-10 years. With a strong presence in the community and a growing team, we're looking for talented and dedicated coaches to lead our programs at the OrthoIllinois Fieldhouse in Carpentersville, IL. Key Responsibilities Field Preparation and Class Setup : Arrive early to set up the field, prepare equipment, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our young athletes. Teaching and Coaching : Lead 50-minute structured soccer classes, using our proprietary curriculum to engage and inspire children to develop their skills and build confidence. Communication with Families : Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians through effective communication before and after classes, providing updates on their child's progress and offering support when needed. Field Clean-up and Maintenance : Ensure the field is clean and safe after each class, demonstrating our commitment to responsibility and respect for our facilities. Qualifications and Requirements We're looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children and are committed to creating a positive and supportive environment. While prior experience as a soccer coach, youth sports instructor, or kids' dance teacher is an asset, it's not essential – we'll provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. Essential Qualifications: Ability to work with children aged 18 months to 10 years Strong communication and interpersonal skills Capacity to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience in early childhood education or youth ministry Background in soccer coaching or playing experience First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer At Lil' Kickers, we believe in investing in our team members' growth and development.
