About the Role of a Flexologist at StretchLab
As a Flexologist at StretchLab, you will be at the forefront of our operations, delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and leading guided group stretching classes for our clients. Your role will be multifaceted, encompassing not only the delivery of exceptional stretching experiences but also sales, outreach, and client relationship management. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and supportive environment that motivates and encourages our clients to achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions tailored to each client's needs and goals, ensuring a safe and effective experience.
- Lead guided group stretching classes for up to 6 clients, promoting a positive and motivating atmosphere.
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout their stretch sessions, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their objectives.
- Build and retain a client base through outstanding service, sales, and outreach efforts, contributing to the growth and success of the studio.
- Manage client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, maintaining accurate and up-to-date client notes, and booking recurring appointments.
- Ensure the safety of clients by enforcing proper stretch techniques and adhering to StretchLab's policies and safety rules.
- Participate in staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay updated on the latest techniques and industry developments.
- Assist Sales Associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed, contributing to the overall success of the studio.
- Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client engagement, membership, and retention.
- Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it is always available for client use.
Essential Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for boutique fitness environments and a love for stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
- Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates/Yoga Instructor.
- Experience working in a fitness or health environment, providing hands-on training or therapy to clients.
- A recognized fitness certification (e.g., personal training, massage therapy, physical therapy, Pilates, or yoga instruction).
- Ability to create a positive, welcoming environment for all clients.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and understand their needs and goals.
- A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to attendance policies.
- Availability to complete our comprehensive 2-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 2 days of in-person, hands-on training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sales or customer service, with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their effective use in promoting services and engaging with clients.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Continuous education or certification in a related field (e.g., fitness, health, wellness), demonstrating a commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, with Flexologists earning between $30 and $35 per hour for stretching sessions. Additional hours may be available supporting the studio at $15 per hour.
