We're seeking highly motivated and talented co-op students to join our team for a minimum of three alternating work terms (Fall 2024, Summer 2025, and Spring 2026). Key Responsibilities
As a co-op student in our Operations and Customer Center, you'll have the opportunity to work on various projects and assignments, including:
- Load Control Center: You'll be responsible for aircraft weight and balance, fuel distribution, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company specifications. You'll also work with the LCC's back office to create applications and efficiencies to reduce workload for the frontline team.
- Fuel System: You'll develop strategies, tools, and sustainability policies for annual jet fuel consumption. You'll research and develop methods to determine safe and efficient fuel loads, improve aircraft routing, and enhance cargo forecasting.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related 4-year degree program.
- Availability to work for three alternating semesters, Monday through Friday.
- Enrollment in an educational institution throughout the co-op program.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
- A team-first attitude with a focus on team success.
- Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortability working in both group and individual settings.
- Prioritization of safety and security for oneself and others.
- Embracing of diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications
We'd love to see:
- Familiarity or experience with SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of airline operations, scheduling, and planning.
- History of leadership roles in student and community organizations.

Compensation and Benefits
