As an Inbound Coach, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Micro Fulfillment Center operations, ensuring seamless inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service. About the Role As an Inbound Coach, you will be responsible for supervising and developing hourly associates, providing training and guidance on Micro Fulfillment Center technology, and ensuring the efficient operation of our inventory management systems. You will work closely with our operations team to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective action plans, and drive process improvements to guarantee a high-quality customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; and providing associate recognition. Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, ensuring diversity and inclusion awareness. Tours the store and provides feedback (Tour-to-Teach); engages and collaborates with associates at all levels regarding store operations, technology use, business objectives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company transformation initiatives, establishes clear expectations and guidelines for the implementation of business solutions, and successfully communicates business objectives to teams. Models and exhibits great customer service standards to store associates by adhering to and practicing the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service efforts, ensuring that customer needs, complaints, and issues are addressed successfully. Develops and implements corrective action plans and leads process improvement efforts to guarantee a high-quality customer experience. Contributes to the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by examining and evaluating profit and loss (P&L) statements, managing, and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and guarantees the proper functioning of inventory and operational processes, developing and implementing action plans to control shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are met. Assures that automation equipment is running effectively, monitoring product flow through the system, tending to automated equipment, and taking steps to address freight flow and resetting equipment. Provides training to Micro Fulfillment Center (MFC) technology operators, providing guidance to Operations Team to minimize operational errors, and acting as a coach for these operations. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 4 years' of site/area management experience in a fast-paced warehouse/high volume production or grocery fulfillment operational environment. Successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience in managing 24-hour operations. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of inventory management systems and automation equipment.
