Job Summary We're seeking an exceptional Math Tutor to join our Temple Center team! As a Mathnasium instructor, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment for our students. You'll have the opportunity to work with students of all grade levels (1-12) and help them build a deep understanding of math concepts. Key Responsibilities Create a positive, engaging, and fun learning center environment that fosters academic success and confidence in our students. Learn and implement the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods, ensuring that our students receive the highest quality math education. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to deepen your understanding of the Mathnasium Method and stay up-to-date with best practices in math education. Tutor students in math at all grade levels (1-12), providing individualized support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals. Work collaboratively with our Center Director and other instructors to ensure a smooth and efficient learning environment. Why Join Our Team? Requirements To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements: Be at least 16 years old. Plan to work with us for at least 9 months. Have experience tutoring or working with children in grades 1-12 (preferred). Have math proficiency through Algebra 2 (required), with Pre-Calculus/Calculus preferred. Schedule your online employment test, which covers basic math through Algebra 2 and Geometry. The test takes up to 2 hours to complete, and no calculator is allowed. If you meet the benchmark score of 85% on our employment test, you'll be invited to an interview with our Center Director and Personnel Director. The interview will last up to an hour and cover your approach to teaching math concepts and working with students. We aim to communicate our hiring decision within a week of your interview.
