We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Mathematics Instructor to teach a range of mathematics courses, from basic math through calculus, including probability and statistics, discrete mathematics, and contemporary mathematics. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, as well as on-site teaching at various locations in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties, including TTC satellite campuses and high school campuses. As a Mathematics Instructor at Trident Technical College, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of future generations, inspiring a love of mathematics, and empowering students to achieve their full potential.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess a master's degree in mathematics or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in mathematics (education courses are excluded). Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and community partners. A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential, as well as a willingness to teach levels of mathematics ranging from basic math through calculus, including probability and statistics, discrete mathematics, and contemporary mathematics.
While not essential, two years of teaching experience at the community college level is highly preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of community college students. Experience with curriculum development, academic advising, and student assessment is also desirable, as well as a willingness to travel to locations in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties, including TTC satellite campuses and high school campuses.
