Job Overview We are currently seeking experienced movers and laborers to join our team. As a mover or laborer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and that their belongings are handled with care and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with your team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all moves are completed safely and efficiently Greet customers upon arrival and conduct a thorough walk-through of their home or business to identify any special requirements or concerns Load and unload a 26-foot moving truck, ensuring that all items are properly secured and protected during transit Complete all necessary paperwork and payment collection, maintaining accurate and detailed records of each move Safely operate the moving truck and perform daily inspections and inventory checks to ensure that all equipment is in good working order Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, responding to their questions and concerns in a courteous and respectful manner Essential Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Must be at least 18 years old for movers and 21 years old for drivers due to insurance restrictions Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Good work ethic and a positive, professional attitude Access to reliable transportation Physical stamina to lift and carry 100 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day Willingness to submit to pre-employment background check and random drug screens Preferred Qualifications Experience in general labor positions, such as truck driving, construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor Previous experience in the moving industry or a related field Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management Teamwork and collaboration: ability to work collaboratively with your team to achieve common goals and objectives Problem-solving and adaptability: ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities Time management and organization: ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks and responsibilities Safety awareness: knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, and ability to maintain a safe working environment Career Growth and Learning Benefits At Workwarp and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
