About the Role
The Product Principal - Customer Experience is a senior leadership role that focuses on driving business value through the production of high-quality products. You'll work closely with Product Directors and cross-functional program leaders to guide in-depth business reviews, communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and present compelling ideas to stakeholders. As a Product Principal, you'll be responsible for generating innovative ideas for growth, driving change management, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery and Execution (10%): Coordinate with Distinguished Engineers, User Experience Principals, and Impacted Teams to ensure alignment on product scope and priorities. Review recommended solutions and product team work to ensure products meet company, stakeholder, and end-user priorities.
- Strategy and Planning (60%): Partner with Cross-Functional Programs or Technology Portfolios to align outcomes and cascade context up to leadership and strategy down to balanced teams using OKRs. Lead cross-functional discovery, create holistic roadmaps with dependencies, and provide visibility into the work.
- Team and Stakeholder Management (30%): Partner with leadership to represent the portfolio during enterprise planning, coordination, and discovery. Foster collaboration across multiple teams and portfolios to drive value, identify impediments, and manage cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of work experience, with a strong background in product management or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and processes to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
