About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and certified Remote English Tutor to join our platform part-time. As a Preply tutor, you'll be responsible for teaching English online to students globally, creating engaging lesson plans, and providing comprehensive materials to meet their language learning needs. Key Responsibilities
- Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, on your own schedule and at your own price
- Create your own lesson plans or utilize Preply's curriculum for your lessons with students
- Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students
- Access training and professional development opportunities through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars
- Provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' language learning needs
- Track student progress and adjust your teaching methods accordingly
- Engage with students, provide constructive feedback, and help them achieve their language learning goals
Essential Qualifications
- Proficiency in English (native or near-native fluency)
- A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching
- Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online
- A high-speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
- Energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with online language learning platforms
- Familiarity with Preply's platform and tools
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
