I’m looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to help with submitting and managing FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests to various police departments across the U.S. Your responsibilities will include: Filing FOIA requests via email, or online portals Following up with departments to ensure timely responses Receiving records (printed pages, USB drives, CDs, etc.) Scanning or transferring the contents digitally Uploading all documents and media files to a shared Google Drive folder Requirements: Experience with FOIA or public records requests (preferred) Must be based in the U.S. (or have a U.S. shipping address) Access to a scanner or a way to digitize physical records This is a long-term opportunity for the right person.
