FULLY REMOTE: Controller ~ $160K - $180K DOE

TGG Accounting has an opening for a Fully Remote Consulting Controller, with prior consulting accounting experience, to join our leadership team. We are seeking a demonstrated team and project management background. As a controller at TGG Accounting, you will provide leadership for a team of 6-8 Staff Accountants, and 4 - 6 Accounting Managers while project managing the general accounting and financial management of 10+ small to mid-sized clients. Key Performance Indicators: Individual GP of 47% or better On-time attendance at all mandatory company meetings More than 90% of Financial Statement Deliveries on or before the 15th Additional Metrics Tracked: 70% completion of requested NPS scores from clients twice per year within 3 weeks Client Retention of greater than 85% Employee Retention of greater than 85% All client engagements must be managed to a Gross Profit margin of 50% or better Planned hours must be within +/- 10% of the actual hour Job Description Overview: • Give financial reports to the executive committee and partners each month • Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts and handle G/L analysis • Comfortable in taking on tasks beyond formal job responsibilities • Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll • Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management • Research, plan, and implement Finance Department initiatives including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed • Analyze deliverables of self and team to confirm they meet client expectations Qualifications: A degree in Accounting or Finance is REQUIRED Active CPA License is Preferred MBA in Accounting or Finance is Preferred For more information please forward your resume to [email protected].
