Hybrid Senior Accountant - Remote | WFH Opportunity

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our esteemed team for a 6-month temporary engagement. This hybrid position allows for a flexible work arrangement consisting of three days in the office and two days working remotely each week. Key Responsibilities • Supervise the monthly closing procedures, including the posting of journal entries and the preparation of flux analyses. • Develop amortization schedules and manage revenue recognition processes effectively. • Record straight-line revenue and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. • Prepare and assess rent packages to guarantee consistency and precision. • Conduct reconciliations and contribute to comprehensive monthly financial statements. Required Skills • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, specifically with VLOOKUP and pivot tables. • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. • Familiarity with MRI or similar accounting software is beneficial. Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate general ledger (GL) accounting. • Experience in REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) accounting is highly desirable.
