Our Manpower and Crew Planning teams are responsible for generating rosters and the delivery of training plans for around 7500 flight and cabin crew operating across our TUI Airline network. We’re a big, fun team, who plan complex training and flying duties for monthly publication deadlines, whilst ensuring all our plans are fully compliant with legislative requirements and limitations for crew, and that we adhere to union agreements. It’s a complex challenge, requiring a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy, but we have the tools to optimise our outputs. Each team has its own clear focus, but works as part of the larger supportive group. Working from either Luton (UK), Zaventem (Belgium), Rijswijk (Netherlands), Stockholm (Sweden) and Hannover (Germany) our offices benefit from an open plan environment, allowing great collaboration. Across our locations we have fab facilities like onsite coffee shops and staff restaurants. Some have regular free breakfast and after work events to catch up with your colleagues, others boast onsite gyms with free fitness classes and one even has a colleague bar! They all have one thing in common though, a great TUI team vibe. There’s real variety in the roles within Manpower and Crew Planning. Some works shifts, some Monday to Friday. Most positions will be full time but we may have the possibility of part time too. Some have a bit of flexibility, so that once fully trained, you may occasionally work from home, whereas others are based fully onsite in our offices, operating as a close team combining resources and knowledge. For most, when our monthly deadlines are coming up, working in the office is the norm.* It’s an exciting time for Manpower and Crew Planning at TUI as we embark on a major project to plan and implement a new Crew Management System across the network. So whilst our resident experts are busy focussing on the project, we are on the lookout for our future generation of experts!, * You’ll build and / or maintain rosters for our flight crew or cabin crew to ensure our extensive flying programme is fully crewed right up to our live operation (T minus 72 hours) Taking into account training requirements, travel, legislative necessities and compliance, efficiency productivity and cost, in addition to crew scheduling agreements and lifestyle preferences, you’ll ensure rosters are optimal, and produced in accordance with fixed deadlines Using our various systems, you’ll consider scenarios, optimise outputs, and accurately maintain records You’ll speak with colleagues and stakeholders both within the crew planning team and wider business areas, to gain information and communicate updates, From a workplace to a place to belong. At TUI we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, encouraging everyone to come as you are, because together, our potential is limitless.
