About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part Time Evening and Weekend Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, providing individual, family, and group therapy services, as well as Telehealth. You will be an integral part of our mission to fill gaps in our community and improve access to quality mental health care. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
- For Part-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 10 completed client visits per week
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training offered
- Participation in outreach and other activities that promote our mission and services
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college and full licensure in your designated field (LCSW, LPC)
- Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, clinical case notes, and progress notes
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Proficient in the use of computer systems, Office 365, and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
- Comfort with collecting the patient's payment information and going over billing if required
- Pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:
- Experience with individuals, couples, children, and families
- General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
- Community Outreach experience
