We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Accountant to join our dynamic team at ABC News Longform, a division of The Walt Disney Company. As a Senior Production Accountant, you will be responsible for leading the financial management of our productions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions, and providing expert guidance to our production teams. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our production teams, finance department, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of our projects. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure, will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial management of our productions, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting. Collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and to identify areas for cost savings. Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. Provide expert guidance to production teams on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and to identify areas for cost savings. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in production accounting, with a strong background in financial management and analysis. Experience working with production accounting software, including PSL, Film Wizardry Planning, and SAP. Strong understanding of domestic and international tax laws and regulations, including W-9 and W8-BEN. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production teams, finance department, and other stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a production company, studio, or network, with a strong background in production accounting and finance. Experience identifying and resolving financial discrepancies and errors. Experience working with DGA and NABET Association agreements. Passion for historical content, with both a news and narrative focus.
