Remote Accountant - Tax Bookkeeping Specialist

As a remote worker, you'll have the freedom to work from the comfort of your own home, with a flexible schedule of 30 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Obtain and review financial documents, including QuickBooks files, bank statements, and credit card statements from clients Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for businesses and individuals Utilize remote desktop software to access QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks Online for client management Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements, and prepare/update Balance sheet reconciliation Excel workbooks Communicate with clients to clarify missing information and update schedules as needed to assist in tax projections Collaborate with our team using Microsoft Teams and Monday.com to ensure seamless workflow and coordination Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred Minimum 2 years of accounting work experience and 2 years of tax work experience Experience with monthly close and QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online is a plus What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of $35.00 Flexible, asynchronous work environment with the freedom to work from home Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing firm with loyal and kind clients Collaborative team environment with a focus on streamlining processes and organization Application Questions: Do you have experience with QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online?
