RemoteHunter is seeking a remote ASL Customer Care Representative to manage account-related and technical support calls in American Sign Language. This role involves resolving customer issues, providing service information, and supporting sales of additional services in a structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer calls in ASL via video for troubleshooting, billing, or service questions
- Identify root causes of customer problems and resolve issues using provided tools and resources
- Educate customers on billing details, policies, and payment options
- Document call details and new account information accurately in the system
- Process sales and complete service orders for additional products or services
- Correct errors in work orders as needed
- Complete all required job training and cross-training
- Stay updated on reference materials and changes relevant to the role
- Perform other assigned duties
Skills
- Proficiency in American Sign Language
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service, sales orientation, multi-tasking, rapport-building, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, highly structured setting
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple screens
- 1 year of experience troubleshooting basic hardware, software, or connectivity issues
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Enthusiastic and personable
