Direct Counsel is partnering with a solo practitioner seeking experienced Contract Employment Attorneys to support an increased volume of work on a temporary, contract basis. Responsibilities
• Provide legal support on a range of employment law matters
• Assist with advice and counseling issues, including workplace policies and compliance
• Draft, review, and revise employment-related documents and correspondence
• Support ongoing matters as needed based on workload and availability
• Collaborate directly with the solo practitioner in a responsive, efficient manner
Skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
• Prior experience practicing employment law
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Reliable availability during agreed-upon hours
