Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sabi Inc. is a company focused on solving complex problems in human-computer interaction through innovative wearable technology. They are seeking a Head of D2C Marketing who will be responsible for managing the entire direct-to-consumer funnel, including content, paid media, and customer retention strategies, while leading a small team and reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Own the full D2C funnel end-to-end: site content, landing pages, checkout, and conversion rate optimization
- Plan, manage, and optimize paid media spend across channels, owning the budget and the ROI story behind it
- Build and run lifecycle marketing programs (email, SMS, and beyond) to drive retention and LTV
- Drive SEO and GEO (generative engine optimization) strategy so we're found through both traditional search and AI-driven discovery
- Manage and develop the internal resource(s) and external agency partners you inherit, and build out the team as scale demands it
- Use AI tools throughout your workflow to multiply output and move faster than a traditional team could
- Partner with the cross-functional team already working on D2C to bring the function fully online, then own it going forward
- Report directly to the CEO on funnel performance, budget, and growth strategy
Skills
- Proven D2C marketing leadership experience, with a track record of building or scaling a direct-to-consumer funnel
- Deep, hands-on fluency with the Shopify and Klaviyo playbook
- Experience across the full D2C stack: CRO, paid media, lifecycle, and SEO, even if you've specialized in one or two
- Comfortable being both the strategist and the executor, especially in the early build phase
- Fluent and enthusiastic user of AI tools to extend your own capacity
- Data-driven and analytical, with a scrappy, get-it-done work style
- Experience managing external agencies and internal team members
- Experience building a D2C function from near-zero, not just optimizing an existing one
- Familiarity with hardware or consumer electronics D2C motions
- Experience with generative engine optimization (GEO) specifically, not just traditional SEO
- Prior experience reporting directly to a CEO or founder
