Catapult Solutions Group is partnering with a leading technology company to hire a Research Investigator for their Legal & Regulatory Support team. The role involves investigating customer complaints and supporting legal requests while ensuring accurate documentation and collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Investigate customer complaints by reviewing account history, transaction activity, case notes, and customer interactions across multiple internal systems
- Conduct detailed research to build complete timelines and summarize findings into clear, well-organized reports for Legal and Compliance teams
- Support legal requests by locating and compiling responsive documentation for subpoenas and other regulatory matters
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Customer Support teams to resolve open questions and ensure accurate documentation
- Maintain detailed case records while handling confidential legal and regulatory information
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in compliance, legal support, investigations, fraud, dispute resolution, risk operations, or financial services
- Experience researching information across multiple systems and producing clear written summaries
- Strong analytical, organizational, and investigative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Salesforce experience (strongly preferred)
- Experience working in a regulated environment such as financial services, fintech, SaaS, banking, or payments is a plus
