They are seeking a SAP ePPDS Consultant / Architect to support complex SAP S/4HANA environments within the automotive manufacturing industry, focusing on implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP planning solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP ePPDS implementation, configuration, and deployment activities across multiple regions and manufacturing sites
- Configure SAP ePPDS master data including: Resources, Production Process Models (PPMs), Production versions, Work centers, Capacity planning, Scheduling strategies, Bucket planning and scheduling horizons
- Support detailed scheduling activities including planning boards, heuristics, optimization runs, and sequencing strategies
- Contribute to fit-gap analysis and solution design aligned with manufacturing operational requirements
- Support full project lifecycle delivery including blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, go-live, and hypercare activities
- Support integration between SAP ePPDS and other SAP modules including MM, PP, SD, and PM
- Work extensively within SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) environments
- Support repetitive manufacturing and rate-based planning processes within automotive manufacturing operations
- Ensure planning and scheduling solutions align with plant-specific operational and production requirements
- Collaborate with distributed teams across Mexico, North America, and Europe to support global rollout initiatives
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and support validation of planning and scheduling solutions
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support and issue resolution during deployment stabilization phases
- Deliver end-user training sessions and knowledge transfer programs to support long-term operational sustainability
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, particularly in low-documentation environments
- Ensure strong stakeholder communication and alignment throughout implementation activities
- Partner with cross-functional business and technical teams to drive successful project outcomes
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities across SAP planning processes
- Operate independently in complex environments with evolving requirements and limited existing documentation
- Contribute to process standardization, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support multi-region deployment coordination and global delivery execution
Skills
- Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced global consulting environments

- 5+ years of hands-on SAP ePPDS implementation and configuration experience
- Strong expertise in SAP ePPDS configuration and deployment
- Strong expertise in production planning and detailed scheduling
- Strong expertise in PPMs, resources, and scheduling boards
- Strong expertise in capacity planning and optimization
- Strong expertise in repetitive manufacturing and rate-based planning
- Experience working within SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP S/4 HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) environments
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and automotive industry processes
- Proven experience delivering full SAP implementation lifecycles from design through hypercare
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live, and post-production stabilization
- Ability to create documentation and implementation assets from scratch in low-documentation environments
- Experience supporting global SAP rollout initiatives across multiple regions
- Familiarity with plant-level manufacturing planning and operational workflows
- Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams and stakeholders
- Exposure to SAP integration across enterprise manufacturing ecosystems
- Prior consulting experience within enterprise-scale manufacturing environments is highly preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately one week per month to client facilities when required
